Nasce a Pisa nel 1982, dove a tutt’oggi vive, lavorando in tutta Italia. Dopo aver conseguito nel 2005 il diploma di Laurea Triennale in Scienze dei Beni Culturali, intraprende il corso di Laurea Specialistica in Storia dell’Arte (ambito contemporaneo) e, dopo due anni di studi all’estero, nel 2008 consegue a pieni voti la Laurea con una tesi sulla nascita e lo sviluppo della pratica videografica barcellonese. 

I suoi interessi spaziano dall’arte grafica e l’illustrazione, intraprendendo nel 2011 un corso di studio e formazione presso la prestigiosa Fondazione Il Bisonte di Firenze in Storia della Grafica d’Arte e Catalogazione di opere d’arte grafica, che la faranno avvicinare a questa affascinante disciplina artistica e apprezzarne le innumerevoli soluzioni espressive affrontate e risolte dai più grandi artisti italiani e stranieri, che hanno lavorato negli storici laboratori della scuola fiorentina. Al fumetto italiano d’autore e Indie divenendo nel 2014 organizzatrice della rassegna culturale Fumetti&Popcorn a Pisa, per la promozione di tale disciplina artistica. Allo studio del graffiti writing e in generale dell’arte urbana, portando avanti una ricerca sulla nascita e sviluppo di queste due discipline artistiche in ambito toscano attraverso la ricostruzione storica degli eventi e delle manifestazioni susseguitisi dagli anni ‘90 ad oggi. Il primo frutto di questa ricerca si concretizza nel 2016 con il libro autoprodotto “Panico Totale. Pisa Convention 1996-2000“, ripercorrendo la storia di una delle manifestazioni storiche nata dal basso e cresciuta per cinque anni nella città di Pisa per diventare uno degli eventi italiani cult del graffiti writing e della cultura Hip Hop anni ’90. Fino ad arrivare alla new media art entrando a far parte nel 2013 del gruppo Atypo, insieme alla curatrice Silvana Vassallo, alla fotografa Ilaria Sabbatini e agli artisti Giacomo Verde, Marcantonio Lunardi, Les Liens Invisibles e Luca Leggero. 

Queste sue passioni la conducono a intraprendere un percorso lavorativo non soltanto nel campo dell’organizzazione di eventi culturali, ma anche in quello della ricerca indipendente, pubblicando per riviste scientifiche e della curatela di progetti espositivi e pubblicazioni, collaborando con enti pubblici e privati, con importanti manifestazioni culturali e con diverse gallerie e spazi espositivi italiani. Nel 2021 è nella giuria di esperti del bando INHABIT – Murales Etiopia per la realizzazione del più grande murales di Roma nel quartiere africano a cura dell’associazione a.DNA Project. Scrive anche per riviste online e cartacee di settore.

Art Historian and Indipendent curator of Contemporary art.

Her interests range from electronic and digital arts to graphic art, from illustration to the Italian underground comic strip to the study of graffiti-writing and in general of Urban Art, carrying out research on the birth and development of these two artistic disciplines in the Tuscan area through the historical reconstruction of events and events that took place from the 1990s to today. The first result of this research was written in 2016 by self-producing the book “Panico Totale. Pisa Convention 1996-2000 “, which tells the story of one of the historical events born from below and grown for five years in the city of Pisa becoming one of the Italian cult events regarding graffiti writing and the 90s Hip Hop culture. In 2011 she also undertakes a study and training course at the prestigious Il Bisonte Foundation of Florence in History of Art Graphics and Cataloging of graphic art works, which will bring her closer to this fascinating artistic discipline and appreciate the countless expressive solutions addressed and resolved by the greatest Italian and foreign artists, who have worked in the historical laboratories of the Florentine school. With great pleasure she was part of the group of artists and curators Atypo, together with the curator Silvana Vassallo, the photographer Ilaria Sabbatini and the artists Giacomo Verde, Marcantonio Lunardi, Les Liens Invisibles and Luca Leggero. From 2014 she is the organizer of the cultural event Fumetti & Popcorn in Pisa, for the promotion of illustration, comics and underground self-production. 

These passions led her to undertake a career path not only in the field of organization of cultural events, but also in that of independent research, publishing for scientific journals and curating exhibition projects and publications, collaborating with public and private bodies, with important cultural events and with various Italian galleries and exhibition spaces. In 2021 he is in the jury of experts of the INHABIT – Murales Ethiopia call for the realization of the largest mural in Rome in the African quarter by the a.DNA Project association. She is contributing writing for several webzine and paper magazines. Live in Pisa and works around Italy.
